Wyoming Trucking Association Scholarship

Scholarship available to students that will be attending a Wyoming college, university, or trade school and pursuing an education that could lead to a career in the transportation industry. Information and application:  WY Trucking 19-20.pdf 

 Sweetwater County Farm Bureau T.S. Taliaferro V Scholarship  

$500 scholarship available to a Regular or Century member of a Farm Bureau family in Sweetwater County.  Applicants must be planning to attend a Wyoming college and have earned a minimum 3.0 GPA.  More information coming soon!

Sweetwater County Class of 2019 Commissioners Scholarship

Requires a personal essay, two letters of recommendation, transcript, ACT scores, activities page, endorsement of principal or counselor.  For use at the University of Wyoming.  More information coming soon!

Feller Orthodontic Scholarship

Two $1,000 scholarships available.  Requires a cumulative 3.0 GPA, transcripts, personal narrative and two letters of recommendation.  For use at any post-secondary institution. More information coming soon!

BPX Energy Scholarship Program

BPX Energy is pleased to be offering college scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Wyoming, any Wyoming community college, of the Colorado School of Mines in the Fall of 2019 and major in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field. Students must enroll full time (12 semester hours or more) at one of the previously mentioned schools. More information coming soon!

Rocky Mountain section of the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship

Graduating high school women from Wyoming planning to major in ABET accredited engineering, computing, or engineering technology programs are eligible for a scholarship up to $1,500.  Deadlines and required application materials coming soon!

Memorial Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship 

One, $3000 scholarship available to students from RSHS interested in pursuing a degree in the healthcare field.  Application and Information will be forthcoming!

Kathy Robinson Memorial Scholarship

$1000 scholarship available to students who are interested in pursuing a degree in Education. Application information coming soon!

Wyoming School Resource Officer Association Scholarship 

Two, one time, $500 scholarships available to students interested in pursuing a career in education, law, or a related field at a Wyoming college/university.  Application information available soon!

Daniels Fund Scholarship

Must have financial need (based on a completed FAFSA) and score a 17 or higher on your ACT.  More information can be found at www.danielsfund.org

REGIONAL/STATEWIDE SCHOLARSHIPS

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarship  

This $20,000 achievement based scholarship is awarded to high school seniors  with a minimum 3.0 (unweighted) GPA with a capacity to lead and serve, and a commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.  The electronic application can be accessed at CokeURL.com/Apply2019.  Deadline: October 31, 2019 at 5 PM (EST).

Adeline Neilson Scholarship

Scholarships are available to full time students attending: college (graduate or undergraduate), junior college, trade or technical schools. Each scholarship is for one academic year. Students may apply each year.  Application information coming soon!

Wyoming Weed and Pest Council Scholarship

$1000 scholarship available  to a Wyoming resident, either graduating high school or an enrolled college student pursuing a college discipline of or relating to agriculture or natural resources.  Available to use at any accredited university, college or trade school.  More information coming soon!

Mary N. Brooks Scholarship

$1000 scholarship available to a Wyoming student currently attending or will be attending a Wyoming University, Community College or any licensed vocational or trade school located in Wyoming.  More information coming soon!

Douvas Memorial Scholarship

$500 scholarship available to a first-generation American student (one who was born in America, but whose parents were born elsewhere), who demonstrates the need and motivation to attend college.  Must be either a high school senior or student between the ages of 18-22.  Available for use at the University of Wyoming or any Wyoming Community College.  More information coming soon!

Wyoming Game Warden’s Association Scholarship

This $400 scholarship can be used by students planning to attend trade schools, community colleges or universities either in-state or out-of-state.  No stipulations are placed on the students area of study, but financial need is considered.  

All-West Scholarship

$2500 scholarship; applications usually opens in January.

Foundation for Rural Services

$2500 scholarship. Past applications have consisted of form, transcripts, 300-word essay, educator's statement, letter of recommendation, and an All-West sponsor signature. More information coming soon!

Kaiser Foundation Scholarship

$4000 scholarship, with the possibility of continuing the funds for 5 years. More information and application coming soon!

NILE Scholarship Program

For almost 30 years, the NILE has awarded scholarships to deserving FFA and 4-H students that have been actively involved in their respective programs and communities, excelled in the classroom, and participated in NILE events. "Promoting the future of agriculture through the support of youth via scholarships is a long-standing tradition of NILE." says Jennifer Boka, General Manager of the NILE. "Educating today's youth to be tomorrow's ag proponents is crucial to the entire world and we at the NILE are proud to support and embrace the future of agriculture."
 
Similar to previous years, the NILE Scholarship Committee will be awarding five levels of scholarships. For more information and application, visit the NILE Scholarship Program website.

Burger King Scholarship

High school seniors can apply to receive up to $50,000 in scholarship awards for the 2020-2021 college school year!  Seniors must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale to be eligible, and must be active in their community through volunteering, sports, clubs and/or religious organizations.  Don’t miss your chance to become a BURGER KING Scholar. Hagan Scholarship

The intended recipient of a Hagan Scholarship is a high achieving, self-motivated student who will require financial assistance to attend college.  Each Hagan Scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters and includes an opportunity to study abroad.  For more information and to access the Hagan Scholarship Application available at https://haganscholarships.org/  Application Deadline: November 15, 2019.

OppU Achievers Scholarship

$2,500 scholarship awarded to high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.  Must be a U.S. citizen or resident.  Deadlines: September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30. To Apply: Students submit a short response to the question "What makes you an achiever?”  you can link to our scholarship portal where students can submit their application essay. 

Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation Scholarship

The Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation Scholarship is for graduates of Wyoming high schools or holders of a Wyoming GED enrolling in college. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time during the year the scholarship is used. Completion of a full course load with a minimum 2.0 GPA is required for renewal. Interested applicants need to complete the application, have two letters of reference, and a color photo of applicant.  Application deadline is June 1st, 2020. Wyoming Chapter of ARMA-The Information Management Professionals

Wyoming Chapter of ARMA offers a scholarship to any senior in a Wyoming High School or a current Wyoming College student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher pursuing a career in business, records and/or information management.  If you are a high school senior, include a copy of your High School transcript showing a GPA of 2.5 or higher. BigSun Scholarship

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. All athletes are eligible for this $500 scholarship regardless of which sport they participate in. The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institution. To apply, interested applicants need to send a 500-1000 word essay answering the question: How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you? Has your participation influence your career goals or how you relate to your family? Essays must be submitted to athleticawards@bigsunathletics.com by June 19, 2020, to be considered. The Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) Scholarship

The Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) offers four $2,500 scholarships for this academic year. The student must have graduated from a Wyoming high school and must be enrolled full-time for the 2018-2019 academic year. In addition, the student must pursue a discipline related to mining/mineral extraction and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The deadline and application coming soon!

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The HSF general scholarship program is available for people of Hispanic ethnicity from underprivileged backgrounds. The value of the fund ranges from $500 to $5,000. You have a higher chance of acceptance if you are studying a STEM subject. Requirement: Minimum 3.0 GPA for High School Students. You also need to have completed the FAFSA application. Glen Legler Memorial Scholarship

Three, $1,000 scholarships available to seniors graduating from a Wyoming High School.  For more information coming soon!

Teacher.org's "Inspire Our Future" Scholarship

Teacher.org is a teacher advocacy site for students interested in considering teaching (and many other avenues within the field of education) as a career. To help support these students we offer an annual $500 scholarship. Teacher.org's "Inspire Our Future" scholarship is open to students studying Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Education, Educational Administration, Secondary Education, or Special Education. Schlumberger Company Scholarship

To be eligible for this award, you must be in your senior year of high school, be entering a US college/university as a first-time freshman, be a dependent son or daughter of a full-time employee of a North American Schlumberger company, have a parent that has been employed for at least three years of continuous service by October 1, 2017.  Recipients will be selected on their academic record, leadership qualities, ACT/SAT scores and essay content.  Merit Scholarships ($5,000) are offered to the top 8 applicants; Honors Awards ($3,500 or $2,000) are offered to 26 applicants.  The scholarships will be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for course load at accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year colleges/universities in the US or Canada.  Application deadline coming soon.

Sixt Rent a Car Scholars Program  

Applicants to the Sixt Scholars Program must be graduating high school seniors in the United States, plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate study at an accredited two year or four year college or university for the entire 2020-2021 academic year, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).  Recipients will receive a $5,000 award to be used for the 2020-2021 academic year. COLLEGE SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS

University of Wyoming Chemistry  Major Scholarships (3)

  1. Wyoming Section of the American Chemical Society offers a scholarship to incoming freshman majoring in biochemistry, chemistry or chemical engineering at UW.
  2. Clifford C. Hach Memorial Scholarship offers $6000 per year to students who begin and remains a chemistry major, maintains a 3.0 grade point average and makes progress towards a chemistry degree. 
  3. Hach Scientific Foundation Chemistry Teacher Scholarship offers recipients a 5 year, $6000/year scholarship for applicants who focus on chemistry and who agree to pursue  a state-certified teaching career.

University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending UW in the fall.  The funding is $6,000 for four years paid over eight consecutive semesters.  To maintain eligibility, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits each semester and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.  Recipients must attend UW at the Laramie Campus.  More information coming soon!

UW Trustees’ Scholars Award

Students who receive the Trustees’ Scholars Award will have a four-year scholarship for tuition, mandatory fees, university room and board (room and board will be covered for years two – four providing student resides in University housing and utilizes a meal plan). Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher at the end of each academic year.
