BPX Energy Scholarship Program
BPX Energy is pleased to be offering college scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend the University of Wyoming, any Wyoming community college, of the Colorado School of Mines in the Fall of 2019 and major in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field. Rocky Mountain section of the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship

Wyoming Game Warden’s Association Scholarship
This $400 scholarship can be used by students planning to attend trade schools, community colleges or universities either in-state or out-of-state. No stipulations are placed on the students area of study, but financial need is considered. Deadline: March 1st

Foundation for Rural Services
$2500 scholarship; applications opened October 1, 2018 and have a deadline of March 1, 2019. Application consists of form, transcripts, 300-word essay, educator's statement, letter of recommendation, and an All-West sponsor signature. The intended recipient of a Hagan Scholarship is a high achieving, self-motivated student who will require financial assistance to attend college. Each Hagan Scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters and includes an opportunity to study abroad. OppU Achievers Scholarship
$2,500 scholarship awarded to high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Must be a U.S. citizen or resident. Deadlines: December 31, March 31, June 30, September 30. Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation Scholarship
The Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation Scholarship is for graduates of Wyoming high schools or holders of a Wyoming GED enrolling in college. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time during the year the scholarship is used. Completion of a full course load with a minimum 2.0 GPA is required for renewal. Interested applicants need to complete the application, have two letters of reference, and a color photo of applicant. Application deadline is June 1st, 2019. Wyoming Chapter of ARMA-The Information Management Professionals
Wyoming Chapter of ARMA offers a scholarship to any senior in a Wyoming High School or a current Wyoming College student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher pursuing a career in business, records and/or information management. If you are a high school senior, include a copy of your High School transcript showing a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Application deadline is May 16, 2019. The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. All athletes are eligible for this $500 scholarship regardless of which sport they participate in. The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institution. To apply, interested applicants need to send a 500-1000 word essay answering the question: How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you? Mission Creek Orthodontics (MCO) Scholarship
Mission Creek Orthodontics is awarding one student with a $500 scholarship. To be eligible for the scholarship the applicant must be a high school senior or attending college as a freshman, sophomore or junior. Students who apply for this scholarship must be attending college on a full-time basis (12 credit hours) by December 2019. The Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) Scholarship
The Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) offers four $2,500 scholarships for this academic year. The student must have graduated from a Wyoming high school and must be enrolled full-time for the 2018-2019 academic year. In addition, the student must pursue a discipline related to mining/mineral extraction and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The deadline for this application is November 30th, 2019. Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The HSF general scholarship program is available for people of Hispanic ethnicity from underprivileged backgrounds. The value of the fund ranges from $500 to $5,000. You have a higher chance of acceptance if you are studying a STEM subject. Requirement: Minimum 3.0 GPA for High School Students. You also need to have completed the FAFSA application. Teacher.org's "Inspire Our Future" Scholarship
Teacher.org is a teacher advocacy site for students interested in considering teaching (and many other avenues within the field of education) as a career. To help support these students we offer an annual $500 scholarship. Teacher.org's "Inspire Our Future" scholarship is open to students studying Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Education, Educational Administration, Secondary Education, or Special Education. Schlumberger Company Scholarship
To be eligible for this award, you must be in your senior year of high school, be entering a US college/university as a first-time freshman, be a dependent son or daughter of a full-time employee of a North American Schlumberger company, have a parent that has been employed for at least three years of continuous service by October 1, 2017. Recipients will be selected on their academic record, leadership qualities, ACT/SAT scores and essay content. Merit Scholarships ($5,000) are offered to the top 8 applicants; Honors Awards ($3,500 or $2,000) are offered to 26 applicants. The scholarships will be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for course load at accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year colleges/universities in the US or Canada. Sixt Rent a Car Scholars Program
Applicants to the Sixt Scholars Program must be graduating high school seniors in the United States, plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate study at an accredited two year or four year college or university for the entire 2019-2020 academic year, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Recipients will receive a $5,000 award to be used for the 2019-2020 academic year. Up to five (5) awards will be granted each year. Awards are one time one time only. COLLEGE SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS
University of Wyoming Chemistry Major Scholarships (3)
- Wyoming Section of the American Chemical Society offers a scholarship to incoming freshman majoring in biochemistry, chemistry or chemical engineering at UW.
- Clifford C. Hach Memorial Scholarship offers $6000 per year to students who begin and remains a chemistry major, maintains a 3.0 grade point average and makes progress towards a chemistry degree.
- Hach Scientific Foundation Chemistry Teacher Scholarship offers recipients a 5 year, $6000/year scholarship for applicants who focus on chemistry and who agree to pursue a state-certified teaching career.

University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending UW in the fall. The funding is $6,000 for four years paid over eight consecutive semesters. To maintain eligibility, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits each semester and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Recipients must attend UW at the Laramie Campus. UW Trustees’ Scholars Award process for the incoming fall 2019 first-year class
Students who receive the Trustees’ Scholars Award will have a four-year scholarship for tuition, mandatory fees, university room and board (room and board will be covered for years two – four providing student resides in University housing and utilizes a meal plan). Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher at the end of each academic year.
Students must submit their UW application, and all official transcripts and test scores no later than December 1, 2018 to UW Admissions.
BP America Energy Scholarship
$5,000 scholarship available to students who are legal residents of the state of Wyoming (preference given to students from Carbon and Sweetwater Counties), current high school senior planning to enroll full-time at the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2019, majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field of study with a preference given to students pursuing studies in areas of interest to the energy industry. Archie J and Lois Kemper Jurich Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund is for students enrolled at the University of Wyoming. To be eligible for this scholarship award, an applicant must be a graduate of Rock Springs High School. While not required, it is the donor’s preference that the recipient(s) be a native of Wyoming. The scholarship recipients must demonstrate financial need for the scholarship award.
