Overview of Program:

The RSHS Cheer Team is part of a GAMEDAY program.  The RSHS Spirit Program exists to:  promote and support the RSHS athletic department and teams, b) enhance the game day/fan experience, c) serve as ambassadors of RSHS, d) provide opportunities for spirit team members to build their skills and character and to enhance their overall high school experience, and e) to provide opportunities for members of the RSHS Cheer team to perform and/or compete.

An RSHS Cheerleader should strive to maintain a positive attitude, uphold school spirit, improve in their cheer and tumbling skills, and to be modest in victory & gracious in defeat.  Good Sportsmanship is a requirement.

Program Mission:

The RSHS spirit program strives to be a well-balanced, spirit program that supports our team members in obtaining success in the classroom and community by providing opportunities for personal growth via the sport of cheerleading, program experiences and training.  Our primary focus is to excel at supporting our RSHS athletic teams and to represent our school with pride, class and excellence.
